In this warranty, the warrantor is referred to as “Noble Plank,” “we,” “us,” or “our.”

2. Products Covered

This Limited Warranty applies only to new Noble Plank rigid-core SPC or luxury vinyl plank flooring that:

  1. Was purchased directly from Noble Plank or an authorized Noble Plank seller;
  2. Was purchased for installation within the United States;
  3. Was installed indoors in an approved residential or light-commercial location;
  4. Was installed, maintained, and used according to the installation and care instructions in effect on the date of purchase; and
  5. Has not been sold as clearance, liquidation, discontinued, damaged, factory-second, “as-is,” or otherwise excluded from warranty coverage.

Proof of Purchase Required

The purchaser must be able to verify their purchase through Noble Plank’s records or by providing an original dated sales receipt or invoice. Noble Plank reserves the right to deny any warranty claim that cannot be verified as a qualifying purchase from Noble Plank or an authorized seller.

This warranty applies to the flooring planks only unless another item is expressly identified as covered in writing.

3. Persons Covered

This warranty applies only to the original retail purchaser and the original installation location shown on the purchase invoice. The warranty is not transferable to:

  • A later owner of the property;
  • A tenant or occupant who did not purchase the flooring;
  • A contractor, installer, builder, or property manager purchasing on behalf of another person, unless Noble Plank agrees otherwise in writing; or
  • Any other person or location.

The purchaser must retain the original dated sales receipt or invoice as proof of purchase.

4. Warranty Periods

Warranty start date: The warranty period begins on the original purchase date, not the installation date.

For qualifying Noble Plank flooring with a wear layer of approximately 22 mil (0.5–0.7 mm):

Residential Use — 25 Years

Twenty-five years from the original purchase date when installed in an owner-occupied or tenant-occupied private residence.

Light-Commercial Use — 5 Years

Five years from the original purchase date when installed in an approved light-commercial environment such as private offices, small boutiques, conference rooms, hotel guest rooms, or waiting rooms.

Light-commercial coverage does not include grocery stores, restaurants, hospitals, schools, gyms, factories, salons, or areas with heavy equipment, rolling loads, or continuous heavy traffic — unless Noble Plank approves in writing before purchase.

The applicable warranty period does not restart when flooring is repaired or replaced. Replacement flooring is covered only for the remaining portion of the original warranty period.

5. Limited Manufacturing-Defect Warranty

Noble Plank warrants that covered flooring will be free from material manufacturing defects that existed when the flooring was delivered to the original purchaser. Visible defects include clearly damaged locking edges, material surface contamination, significant dimensional abnormalities, and material print or finish defects.

The purchaser and installer must inspect all flooring before and during installation. Flooring containing a visible defect must not be installed. Installation of visibly defective flooring constitutes acceptance of its visible condition.

30-Day Reporting Window

Visible defects, shipping shortages, incorrect colors, incorrect products, and transit damage must be reported to Noble Plank in writing within 30 days after delivery and before the affected flooring is installed.

6. Limited Wear-Through Warranty

Noble Plank warrants that the decorative printed layer will not wear through as a result of ordinary pedestrian traffic under normal use. “Wear-through” means complete loss of the wear layer over a continuous affected area of at least one square inch.

The following are not considered wear-through: scratches, scuffs, cuts, dents, gouges, loss of gloss, surface dulling, chipping, indentations, finish variation, isolated damage, or damage caused by grit, sand, pet claws, furniture, appliances, rolling loads, improper chair casters, or inadequate floor protection.

7. Limited Water-Resistance Warranty

The flooring planks are designed to resist damage from ordinary topical household spills and routine wet cleaning when liquid is removed within a reasonable period and the flooring has been installed and maintained correctly.

“Waterproof” Does Not Mean Floodproof

The flooring’s water-resistant construction does not make the room, subfloor, walls, underlayment, or surrounding materials waterproof. This warranty does not cover flooding, standing water, plumbing or appliance leaks, hydrostatic pressure, concrete moisture, mold, mildew, or damage to subfloors, walls, or personal property.

The purchaser is responsible for correcting the source of any moisture or water intrusion immediately.

8. Installation Requirements

Warranty coverage applies only when flooring is installed in accordance with all Noble Plank installation instructions, building codes, and accepted flooring industry practices. Key requirements include:

  • Install indoors in an enclosed, climate-controlled area;
  • Maintain required temperature and humidity ranges;
  • Subfloor must be structurally sound, clean, dry, smooth, and flat;
  • Maintain all required perimeter and transition expansion spaces;
  • Install required transition moldings in doorways and large rooms;
  • Do not permanently fasten, pin, trap, or restrict a floating floor;
  • Do not install over an unsuitable subfloor or unapproved underlayment; and
  • Do not use adhesive with a floating-floor product unless specifically authorized in writing.

Noble Plank does not warrant the workmanship of an independent installer. Installation-related claims must be submitted to the responsible installer or installation company.

9. Owner Maintenance Responsibilities

To maintain warranty coverage, the flooring must be cared for according to Noble Plank’s care and maintenance instructions. The purchaser must:

  • Sweep, dust mop, or vacuum regularly using a hard-surface setting;
  • Remove grit, sand, and abrasive debris promptly;
  • Clean spills promptly using products suitable for SPC or luxury vinyl flooring;
  • Avoid steam mops, abrasive pads, waxes, oil soaps, solvents, and harsh chemicals;
  • Use walk-off mats at exterior entrances and non-staining floor protectors under furniture;
  • Lift furniture rather than dragging it;
  • Use suitable hard-floor chair mats under rolling chairs;
  • Keep pet nails reasonably trimmed; and
  • Maintain normal indoor environmental conditions and protect the floor from excessive heat and direct sunlight.

10. Conditions Not Covered

This Limited Warranty does not cover damage, appearance changes, or performance problems caused by or resulting from:

Note: Claims submitted after the applicable warranty period has expired will not be accepted regardless of the nature of the condition.

  • Improper installation or subfloor preparation;
  • Uneven, unstable, or structurally deficient subfloors;

  • Lack of required expansion space or transition moldings;
  • Pinching, trapping, or restricting a floating floor;
  • Improper underlayment, adhesives, or installation materials;
  • Installation outdoors, in non-climate-controlled areas, showers, saunas, or continuously wet locations; or
  • Improper storage, acclimation, temperature, or humidity during or after installation.

Accidents, Abuse, and External Causes

  • Fire, smoke, flood, storm, lightning, earthquake, or other casualty;
  • Plumbing, appliance, roof, window, or structural leaks;
  • Standing water or prolonged moisture exposure;
  • Burns, cuts, scratches, dents, gouges, chips, punctures, or impacts;
  • Damage from furniture, appliances, high heels, caster wheels, rolling loads, or heavy objects;
  • Pet urine, waste, claws, or other animal-related damage;
  • Improper alterations, repairs, refinishing, or modifications; or
  • Use beyond the flooring’s intended residential or approved light-commercial application.

Appearance and Natural Variation

  • Normal variation in plank color, pattern, grain, texture, embossing, gloss, or shade;
  • Differences between samples, photographs, digital displays, and delivered flooring;
  • Normal fading, darkening, or gloss change from age, sunlight, heat, use, or maintenance;
  • Dye transfer or staining from rugs, mats, rubber, asphalt, adhesives, paint, or chemicals.

11. How to Make a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim, contact Noble Plank within the applicable warranty period:

  1. Contact us by phone or email with your name, purchase date, and a description of the condition.
  2. Provide a copy of your original dated sales receipt or invoice as proof of purchase.
  3. Submit clear photographs showing the affected area and the overall installation.
  4. We will review your claim and may request a physical inspection or a sample of the affected flooring.
  5. Do not remove or replace flooring before we have had the opportunity to inspect it, as this may limit or void your claim.
  6. Noble Plank reserves the right to verify the purchase through our own records and to deny claims that cannot be confirmed as a qualifying purchase.

12. Noble Plank’s Sole Remedy

If a valid warranty claim is accepted, Noble Plank will, at its sole discretion, do one of the following:

  • Provide replacement flooring material of the same or a comparable product; or
  • Refund the original purchase price of the affected flooring.

Flooring Material Only — Labor Not Included

Noble Plank’s warranty remedy covers the cost of replacement flooring material only. The customer is solely responsible for all labor, installation, removal, disposal, subfloor preparation, freight, and any other costs associated with the warranty remedy. Noble Plank does not provide or pay for installation services under this warranty.

Noble Plank’s total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price paid for the affected flooring planks.

13. Disclaimer of Implied Warranties

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NOBLE PLANK DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WHERE APPLICABLE LAW DOES NOT PERMIT THE DISCLAIMER OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SUCH WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE APPLICABLE WARRANTY PERIOD STATED IN THIS DOCUMENT.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NOBLE PLANK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE FLOORING OR THIS WARRANTY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF REVENUE, COST OF SUBSTITUTE FLOORING, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR PERSONAL INJURY. NOBLE PLANK’S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE PAID FOR THE AFFECTED FLOORING.

15. Governing Law

This warranty is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any dispute arising under this warranty shall be resolved in the courts of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state.
